As a domain expert for Microsoft Entra ID & Azure in the Workplace Solutions domain you will design, refine and implement modern workplace services backed by Microsoft technology to support and enable the organization’s digital workplace environment for all employees at Metro.
Job Description
- Together with the team and the product manager, you are responsible for the global M365 cloud environment
- You take care of the Microsoft tenant design & administration with a focus on Microsoft Entra ID, Azure and Security
- Implementation and participation in projects for the further usage of Entra ID (e.g. delegation model, privileged identity management, conditional access policies, application registration & governance)
- Development and implementation of security guidelines and best practices
- Advising and supporting application owners and users with technical queries regarding Microsoft 365
- Azure governance & management (e.g., subscriptions, permissions, policies)
- Support the transformation of the workplace infrastructure and solutions by implementing and supporting Metro’s cloud strategy
- You are setting the foundation and enabling the implementation together with internal colleagues and our external service provider
- Being constantly on the lookout for new development and trends and evaluating their relevance for our users
- Identifying and implementing optimization potential to continuously improve the solutions being used
Qualifications
- Profound experience in the administration and management of Microsoft 365 and cloud technologies with focus on Entra ID and Azure
- Good knowledge in Graph API, PowerShell as well as automation
- Fundamental knowledge of modern Microsoft Platform and Cloud Services as well as traditional technologies (Microsoft 365, AD & Entra ID, Identity services, Azure)
- Know-how in implementing Microsoft services and solutions, preferably including hybrid solutions with on-premises elements
- 5+ years of experience as an expert for modern workplace services
- High willingness to learn and flexibility with regards to new technologies and topics
- Ability to work independently and self-organize
- Working collaboratively with various teams throughout the broader organization
- Having strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as solid communication skills
- Confident, positive, and strongly committed to customer orientation
- Good fluency in English (written and verbal)
